Ketts Tavern
We bought The Ketts Tavern on Ketts Hill in Norwich in 2000, our first ever pub and the first time either of us had stood the ‘wrong’side of the bar! It dates back to the early 1800s and boasts a traditional main bar, complete with cosy fire, and a bright and modern Conservatory. Memories of Norwich City FC’s former glories adorn the walls of the Main Bar, alongside a 92″ Big Screen and numerous big TVs, whilst in The Conservatory there is a pool table and books and board games for children and adults.
The Ketts has been well known for many years for it’s range and quality of real ales (CAMRA Pub Of The Year 2002, Norwich Branch), but we now also pride ourselves in providing the full range of Norwich Bear Brewing Co beers. It will be supplied with Norwich Bear bottled ales as soon as the microbrewery at The Rose is up and running.
There is a large car park and beer garden with a Children’s Area, The Conservatory is available for private parties and the whole pub is also available to hire for meetings and functions weekdays 10am – 3pm.
Popular with NCFC fans, The Ketts is only a 20 minute walk from Carrow Road, and is also only 10 minutes from Norwich Train Station. Friendly away fans are always welcome!
We serve delicious, fresh food every day, using as much local produce as we can from farm shops and local suppliers, and provide a gorgeous roast on a Sunday.
Every evening we serve Indian meals freshly prepared at the Tandoori Express – enjoy an authentic curry whilst drinking the ale of your choice.
